Uru; First Nationwide Online Transport Service Launched

The influence of the internet in various sectors of Ghana’s economy has been immense with the transport sector being no exception as Chief Executive Officer of online transport service Uru, Peter MGH has underscored the relevance of information technology in the transport sector.

Speaking at the launch of the Uru Driver application in Accra on Friday, the software developer explained that Uru, is a driver-friendly mobile application which allows clients the effectiveness of reaching various destinations across the 10 regions with ease despite the complex and underdeveloped road network in the country.

– Uru Business comes with hourly charge rather than time and mileage, starting at GH¢25 per hour.

– Uru Travel: this is an awesome package for rental companies and people who have SUVs/V8s and might not have immediate use for to subscribe as drivers and make extra income. Use Uru Travel for long business or family trips. Uru travel deals with journeys beyond Accra where one requires V8s or SUVs.
