Baffour Gyan has denied joining forces with his brother, Asamoah Gyan to assault Godwin Martey, the CEO of Websoft Solutions with his brother Asamoah Gyan during a tennis friendly match.
The incident is said to have occurred at the 37 Army Officer’s Mess tennis court last night.
According to Godwin, Asamoah Gyan’s brother, Baffour Gyan who acted as an umpire was giving all controversial points that was supposed to be in favour to Gyan.
After observing this for some time, Mr. Martey who was unhappy asked for a proper tournament to be arranged with a match commissioner and a neutral umpire to ensure fairness to both parties.
From his account on the incident, Baffour Gyan continued to shout angrily at him.
Baffour Gyan is said to have charged towards Godwin, slapping him continuously and insisting that he gets back in the game.
Godwin reported the case to the Cantonment Police Station. He also has an audio recording of the entire incident, plans to sue the Gyan brothers.
Meanwhile, Baffour Gyan says he and his brother didn’t lay their hands on him but exchanged words with Godwin Martey.
‘Gyan didn’t touch him, I didn’t touch him. We were just arguing; He intentionally recorded the incident because he knew what he was about,” he told Pure Fm.
Baffour added he will visit the police station to give their side of the story.
Meanwhile, CEO of Websoft Solution, Godwin Martey who has accused the Gyan brothers of assault after Wednesday’s tennis game has been diagnosed by doctors.
