The University of Ghana Sports Directorate has rescheduled the continuation of the second edition of its virtual interhall games.
The competition, which commenced last week, was scheduled to go on until Sunday, May 16, 2021.
The Sports Directorate on Friday, April 30, announced a halt in the games, saying that it would continue on Monday, May 3, 2021.
The Sports Directorate regrets to announce the postponement of the 2nd UG Virtual Inter-Hall Games. This was due to circumstances beyond our control. We will however reboot the Games on Monday 3rd May, 2021. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.

However, organizers of the games have communicated to UniversSports, saying that it will rather resume on Tuesday, May 4, following the declaration of Monday as a public holiday.
The games has already entered into its quarterfinal stage.

For this second edition, there are just four sporting disciplines – Goalball, Netball, Badminton, and Tennis.
The games will be via a knockout system on Twitter with updates shared on Facebook and Instagram.
Game winners will be determined by a simple majority across the various social media platforms.
The losers of any given game are immediately knocked out of the tournament. Winners then proceed to the next stage.
