University of Ghana’s Benjamin Azamati has presented the trophy he won at the 2019 GNPC Ghana Fastest Human Competition to the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro-Owusu.
The athlete, who was part of Ghana’s team that won gold in the men’s 4×100 meters relay at the just ended 2019 African Games in Morocco, also presented his gold medal from that event.
Benjamin Azamati was accompanied by Grace Obuor who won Bronze in the 400m race at the African games in Morocco and Silver in the 100m race at Ghana’s Fastest Human competition.
Speaking at the short ceremony to celebrate the achievements of the students, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu pledged to give them the needed support until they reached the highest level of their career.
The presentation was made at the Council Chamber of the University after a procession through the University campus.
