Head coach for Accra Hearts of Oak, Kosta Papic has affirmed his ambition to win the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League on his second stint at the club.
Kosta Papic had his first stint with Accra Hearts of Oak in the 2008/2009 season before he parted ways with the Phobians halfway into the season.
Papic replaced Nii Odoom as manager.
The club was then placed 7th on the log.
Following a convincing win against Techiman Eleven Wonders on Sunday, Hearts are fifth on the table, two points adrift of leaders Karela United.
“In the meantime, we must fight matches we can to win the league. If I don’t win the league, for me that is not the satisfaction. I want to win the Ghana Premier League. That is the end of the story and the players understand my ambition.” he told Purefm Ghana.
Hearts have greatly since Papic’s arrival in December.
They were battling relegation before his appointment but are now title contenders.
The Phobians will travel to Berekum to face Berekum Chelsea on Saturday.
