Member of the communications team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region, Onasis Rosely Kobby, has hinted that the next John Mahama-led administration will introduce free tertiary education when given the nod in the December 7 polls.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Hello FM, he revealed that university students will not pay fees, adding that more information on this policy will be made known when the Party launches its 2020 manifesto.

In his goodwill message for Free SHS final year candidates writing the ongoing 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), Kobby stated that they need to pass, and vote for John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming elections to make the party’s dream a reality.

“I want to use this opportunity to encourage all the WASSCE candidates, I send God’s blessings upon them.”

“They need to pass so they can vote for John Mahama in order for them to attend university for free, as Mahama has promised,” he said.

According to him, the party’s manifesto, when outdoored, will confirm his claims.

Reacting to a question from the host, he replied him saying, “don’t worry, our manifesto will be out”.
