Congratulations fresher, you have been offered admission to the prestigious University of Ghana. Over forty thousand people applied and you’re among the lucky ones to be offered the chance to study on the hill of knowledge – Stand Proud!
The first most important thing for you to do is to accept the offer by paying the fees mentioned in your letter. You anticipated that you’d gain University of Ghana admission and indeed you have it now. Rush and pay the stated amount in the letter to the account number provided by the school.
Secondly, get ready to apply for residential accommodation. Truth be told, securing accommodation on campus is perhaps more difficult than securing admission. Over ten thousand students were offered admission but the beds available are not up to that number. Residing on campus is fun and makes academic work a bit easier. University Management will soon announce a date when the portal will be open, just alert and wait for it.
The next thing to do is to start packing your things. This point may be irrelevant to you if you will be coming to campus straight from home. Otherwise, those of you who are fortunate to have secured accommodation on campus or perhaps, lodging at a nearby hostel, you surely need to park your clothes as well as other things you know you’d need for academic work.
Perhaps, the final thing to do is the grab your phone and tell the world how proud you feel being offered to study at Ghana’s most preferred tertiary institution. It is not never easy to secure a place at the nation’s premier university. Go to twitter or facebook and share your excitement with the world. In doing that on Twitter, remember to mention @Univers1057fm and @UnivofGhana
Welcome to the University of Ghana, the nation’s hope and glory….INTEGRIS PROCEDAMUS!
