University of Ghana Computing Systems (UGCS) has upgraded the University’s Management Information System also known as MIS Web.
MIS web serves as a point where students, staff as well as alumni of the University access their private information.
With this upgrade, marks obtained in a course have been added to the ‘Academic Record’ tab.
A profile photo of the student can also be seen now.
Other options such as, CGPA, GPA among others have however been removed from the site.
Last week, management of the University of Ghana Computing System (UGCS) disclosed that the Integrated Tertiary Systems (ITS) of the University will be shut down for a final upgrade.
In a message sent to students, they indicated that the temporal shutdown will enable UGCS to upgrade the ITS to a recent version.
The shutdown, which lasted for six days (11th – 16th July), meant that students and other patrons of the platform were not able to access their MIS web during the stated period.
