Students of the University of Ghana, looking forward to register their University of Ghana Required Courses (UGRC) courses will have to exercise some patience as the website appear to be suffering some technical issues.
UniversNews understands that as a result of high traffic volumes from students attempting to register their courses, the platform appears to be unavailable to a significant number of students.
The UGRC portal was opened early this morning at about 8am and students have since tried to access the portal to register.
Speaking to some students who were unable to register their courses, they expressed their frustration on the inability to access the platform.
“I have tried registering my courses since morning. Any time I try, I get the indication that the site cannot be reached.” a student shared with UniversNews
However, some students, who also spoke to UniversNews expressed their happiness as they successfully registered their courses.
“It wasn’t easy to have my UGRC courses registered. The trick is to get a fast internet. I struggled a bit but at the end, I managed to register my courses. I even helped a few friends register theirs too”
UGRC are required courses every Level 100 and 200 student of the University of Ghana, have to undertake in a semester.
Failure to undertake any of the set of courses will result in a student losing credit hours, thereby making it impossible for him or her to graduate.
