SAHAM Insurance Company Limited has donated personal protective equipment (PPEs) worth GHC 20,000 to the University of Ghana Hospital.
The donation, according to the Managing Director of SAHAM Insurance, Mrs. Mabel Porbley, is aimed at supporting the staff of the hospital in their fight against the novel coronavirus as it has already done for other hospitals and the COVID-19 Fund.
Presenting the items, Mrs. Mabel Porbley indicated that the company was looking at a partnership with the University in the area of risk management and assessment.
Vice Chancellor of UG, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, who received the donation on behalf of the management of the hospital, expressed gratitude to the company.
He also expressed the readiness of the University in entering into a partnership with SAHAM Insurance in the area of risk management.
He further encouraged for more meaningful partnerships to ensure a win-win situation for all.
