Ashanti Region’s Osei Tutu Senior High School has joined seven other schools who have so far booked a place in the one-eight stage of the ongoing National Science and Maths Quiz competition and Science Festival.
Ahead of the contest, some had said that it was going to be an obvious and easy win for the school named after the Asantehene.
However, their regional colleagues, Nsutaman was not going to let the win come easy.
They attempted to give a hot chase, but the Osei Tutu boys was not going to let their backers down.
At the end of the first round, they managed to score 20points, with Nsutaman SHS and Nafana Presby SHS trailing with 12points and 4points respectively.
Round two came and Osei Tutu SHS extended their lead with 15 additional points.
Nsutaman SHS however gained just an additional point.
The boys in blue uniform managed to keep their lead to book a place in the next round.
At the end of the contest, Osei Tutu scored 55points. Nsutaman SHS and Nafana Presby SHS also scored 34points and 18points respectively.
