Controversial politician, Kennedy Agyapong has distanced himself from the murder of investigator with Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye PI, Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
According to Mr. Agyapong, he was informed about the death of the Hussein-Suale this morning by a friend and should not be linked with the death of the Tiger Eye PI lead investigator.
Speaking on Accra-based Neat FM, Mr. Agyapong said he profits nothing from engineering the killing of Mr. Hussein-Suale.
“I stand to profit nothing from ordering for his killing. Considering how far the Lord has brought me, I don’t know what I will gain by ordering people to kill him” he said.
I don’t live a low life and Ahmed has not offended me in anyway. He is irrelevant to my life so why would I do such a stupid thing?
He further added that he is ready to be questioned by the Police on the matter.
“I understand people are calling for the Police to invite me for questioning. But on what basis will they question me? I’m ready for them anyway”
The evil that men do lives after them and that is why i try not to offend people. I don’t have time to plot evil for people – he stressed.
Some Ghanaians are calling for the head of the Assin Central Member of Parliament after he urged residents of Madina to beat up Hussein-Suale whenever they meet him because he is “bad”.
Ahmed Hussein-Suale was reportedly killed by two gunmen on a motorbike who shot into the car he was driving.
Anas, in a message on Facebook said Ahmed was hit three times; twice in the chest and once in the neck following which he died on the spot.
Anas Aremeyaw Anas, in a video on his Facebook page, presented the announcement of his colleague’s murder within the context of Mr. Agyapong urging residents of Madina to go after Ahmed.
The journalist has also spoken to Graphic Online about the incident.
“He was just shot and killed, nothing was taken from him”, another member of the Anas’ team told Graphic Online.
The police is however yet to comment on the matter, although his remains have been deposited at the Police Hospital.
