Director for second-tier side Nzema Kotoko, Dr. Mark Addo, has been elected as the new Ghana Football Association Vice president.
He polled 55% of the total votes cast, defeating Randy Abbey and Dr. Tony Aubyn.
Dr. Mark Addo gained 6 endorsements, with Randy Abbey following keenly with 4 votes.
Medeama Board Chairman, Dr. Tony Aubyn, could only secure a vote in his favour.
The Nzema Kotoko director is therefore the second most powerful football person in Ghana.
About Mark Addo
Mark Addo is a founding member of Nzema Kotoko , a division one club in the western south region of Ghana since 2013.
He is currently the board chairman of an independent power company as well as a community Trustfund in Nzema.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics from the City College of New York and an MBA in Finance and International Business from Columbia Business School in New York.
He has served in management positions in several multinational global companies in areas of finance business development and sustainability while working in the USA, Asia, and Africa.
