Manny Pacquaio has defended his secondary welterweight regular title after defeating unconvincing Adrien Broner of Cincinnati by a unanimous decision at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Paradise, Nevada, Las Vegas, USA.
The bout went through twelve rounds with Pacquiao firing jabs at Broner to the body in the early hours.
The Filipino busted out over 60 jabs cruising to easy wins as he avoided Broner’s seldom attempts at counters.
Broner bounced back in the fourth round, landing his best shots of the fight on the counter.
He then moved Broner gently on multiple occasions, and landed him inimical to the ropes, but failed to get him out of there.
Pacquaio used swiftness and aggressive methods to outclass the diffident Broner, who sat back in an attempt to counter but landed fewer punches on Manny Pacquaio.
After twelve rounds, the three judges, scored 117-111,116-112 and 116-112 in favor of the Filipino who outshined the Cincinnati boxer.
