Ghanaian sensation Mohammed Kudus shortlisted for Golden boy awar .
19 year old Ghanaian international Mohammed has found himself in esteemed company after being shortlisted for the 2020 golden boy awards.
The award started by Italian outlet Tuttosport seeks to reward the best under 21 footballer in the world for their achievements in given calendar year.
The shortlisted candidates will be pruned until the eventual winner is announced in a couple of months.
This years list features the likes of Barcelona’s Ansu Fati, Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies and Erling Braut Håland of Borussia Dortmund.
Kudus who currently plies his trade with Nordsjaelland in the Danish league has been on the transfer radar of top European clubs including European champions Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan, which is a testament to his ability.
Kudus scored nine goals in 19 league games in the Danish league which has been halted due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
The Ghanaian prodigy has a contract with Nordsjaelland which will expire on 30 June 2021.
Paul Pogba, Raheem Sterling, Kylian Mbappe, and Matheus de Ligt are all past winners of the award.
