After series of talks and tussles between the two parties, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has finally accepted the resignation of Head Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin.
The former Hearts of Lions trainer who joined the Porcupine Warriors after his exploits with The Black Starlets of Ghana tended in his resignation a week ago after the club’s 3-2 victory over Ashanti rivals, Ashanti Gold.
The management of the Kumasi-based club initially rejected the Coach’s resignation as they claimed Mr. Fabin had to fulfil some contractual issues before they go ahead to let him go.
The management stated in the letter that the decision ‘is aimed at putting matters to rest so to remain focused on its forward march agenda’.
The management therefore appealed to ‘its stakeholders especially the teeming supporters of the club for their unflinching support in its effort at stabilizing the technical department of the club as consultation are ongoing to get a head coach for the club’.
