Kumasi Asante Kotoko has announced the appointment of Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum as the new head coach of the club.
Nartey comes as the third addition to the club as they have already signed two players; Richmond Lamptey, 24, and Maxwell Agyeman, 21, to improve their squad for the 2021/2022 GPL season.
Prosper Nartey joins Kotoko on a two-year deal from WAFA and is expected to lead the sporting project of the Porcupine Warriors in the upcoming 2021/22 GPL season.
The 43-year-old before his new appointment led the West African football Academy to finish third in the just ended 2020/21 GPL season.
Nartey comes as the replacement for Mariano Barreto who mutually terminated his contract with the Porcupine Warriors on Friday.
The sports Psychologist and Educationist previously handled the UCC Soccer Team, Elmina Sharks, Ebusua Dwarfs, and Karela United.
Kotoko announced his appointment as the new head coach on the Club’s official Twitter handle.
