Some say the fashion trend of matching shoes and handbags is becoming an old-school concept. However, it’s a woman’s prerogative to change her mind, so that may make a case for why fashion gets away with being so fickle.
It will therefore come as no surprise that one of the most fashion about-turns in recent times will rather be the trend of coordinating accessories.
Well, I believe the matching trend looks great and can take the guesswork out of styling, but it’s just not a necessary guideline to follow.
Especially since there are plenty of less-expected ways to cleverly get an outfit together. If you are prepared for a new approach, too, pay attention to the looks ahead.
Each of them features artistic ways to make bags and shoes feel interconnected in an overall ensemble without following any hard-and-fast rules.
So Instead of comparing shoes and bags, coordinate your footwear frill with the bit of ruffle by the neckline of your top.
Instead of coordinating your bag and shoes, keep your entire look within the same palette; in that manner, your footwear can stand out by simply being a unique color.
If you also choose a handbag that so closely coordinates with your outfit, choose a pair of shoes that distinctly doesn’t and vice versa.
You can coordinate shoes and bags by choosing ones in neutral colors.
Not that when it comes to prints and patterns it’s a little different. If you love a print or patterned bag or shoe, you need to identify the base color and co-ordinate accordingly. For example, if the primary color of the patterned bag is red, then wear a plain red shoe and vice versa.
However, you could also go along with the matching trend in that case in wearing black shoes, the bag and belt would surely be black.
In Deciding to go for this trend, a lot of consideration must be done when it comes to textures. Even if the fashion world changes, some women will continue to match their shoes and bags anytime anyway.
But when all is said and done, we know that not all can afford the luxury of a wardrobe full of matching or coordinating accessories. Not just financially, but the space required to house such a collection.
So, the smart money says that every woman needs to build a collection of classic basics; that way you’ll get more bang for your buck. Then rock a statement accessory or two.
