Voting has begun for residents of the Pent, Bani, Evandy andTF hostels as well as non-resident students at the University of Ghana Law School polling station.
The elections which were expected to begin at 8: 00 am started at 1:15 pm.
The ballot papers arrived at 12:45 pm.
The polling agents and electorates are agitated over the delay in the whole voting process.
Some of the electorates have also threatened not to cast their vote because of the delay.
The Airport Police and the University of Ghana Security personnel are currently at the polling station to calm the agitated electorates and officials.
The electorates lamented that they can’t vote in 4 hours, since polls are expected to close at 5:00 pm.
