With a fortnight to the 2019/2020 University of Ghana SRC general elections, there have been a lot of speculations and write-ups from student’s political activists and observers on their ideal choice of candidates they believe would emerge winners in this year’s elections.
Some of these articles and opinions have received sharp responses from communication officers of some aspirants who expressed divergent opinions.
It is against this backdrop that Univers News engaged students of the University of Ghana on their thoughts of which candidates would handle the affairs of the SRC Union Building should they team.
Largely, students of the University of Ghana tipped Kwaku Asante of Commonwealth Hall and Anthony Julius of the Elizabeth Sey Hall as the best duo to win this year’s elections should they pair. Most gave a similar explanation that,
“Kwaku Asante Bismack would sweep many votes from the traditional halls on campus and from the political science department while Anthony Julius would also amass numerous votes from the Diaspora, and with all these support they’ll win”
The second leading pair was a team of Isaac Agyeman and Louis Banahene, followed by Isaac Anapansah and Daniel Osei Wereko.
