The Students Representative Council of the University of Ghana has announced that it would hold a vigil in memory of two University of Ghana students who lost their lives in separate tragic incidents this year.
The two, Pamela Suglo and Lilian Ampofowaah Asiedu both died about the same time earlier this month.
Pamela Suglo, who was a level 400 consumer science student and the local President of the University of Ghana Catholic Church, reportedly passed on after suffering a strange bacteria infection in her ear which gradually affected her brain.
Lilian, on the hand, was among the two Miss USAG contestants who drowned at the Oasis Beach near the Cape-Coast Castle in the Central region during the annual conference of the University Students Association of Ghana (USAG).
The night vigil is scheduled to come off tomorrow Tuesday August 28, 2018 at the forecourt of the SRC Union Building at 7pm.
