Management of the University of Ghana Computing System (UGCS) has disclosed that the Integrated Tertiary Systems (ITS) of the University will be shut down for a final upgrade.
In a message sent to students, the temporal shutdown will enable UGCS to upgrade the ITS to a recent version.
The shutdown, which is expected to take effect for six days (11th – 16th July), will mean that students would not be able to access their Management Information System (MIS) web during the stated period.
Students are thus advised to make the necessary arrangements to avoid any inconvenience.
MIS web serves as a point where students, staff as well as alumni of the University access their private information.
Students rely on the MIS Web to access their end of semester results.
