Students of the University of Education, Winneba, have been asked to quickly settle their outstanding fees before the end of first semester exams commences.
Exams is scheduled to start on December 9 and end on December 22, 2019.
Management of the University says that it has taken notice that a number of fresh and continuing students are in debt to the school.
They warn that students who fail to settle their fees in full will not be allowed to sit for the end of semester examination.
Management has taken note that a number of fresh and continuing students are owing fees. We wish to inform all students that entry in Examination Halls will be subject to payment of FULL FEES.
All students are reminded to ensure that they have settled all outstanding school fees before the End of Semester Examinations commence.
Students of the University, especially first year students are not clear on the warning.
They do not understand why University authorities are demanding for full payment of fees by the end of the first semester when it was stated in their admission letter that part payment was permissible for the first semester and the outstanding fees being paid before the start of the second semester.
However, sources close to UniversNews indicates that the warning is only directed at continuing students.
