Ace Ghanaian journalist and station manager of Radio Univers 105.7FM, Dr. Abubakari Sidick Ahmed, will be moderating a webcast on the “legacy of colonialism in today’s Africa”
The event is being organized by the New York Bar Association, and takes place on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, from 3:00PM – 5:00PM GMT.
One of the speakers for the event is former African Union Ambassador to the USA and founder of the African Diaspora Development Institute (ADDI), Dr. H.E. Ambassador Arikana Chihombori Quao.
Others include Dr. Ndongo Samba Sylla, Program Manager, West Africa office of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Dakar, Senegal and Co-founder of CORA (Collectif pour le Renouveau Africain) and Dr. Amin George Forji, a Teaching Associate, Faculty of Law, University of Manchester (UK); Adjunct Lecturer, Public International Law and Political Economy at the Faculty of Law, University of Helsinki (Finland); Research Fellow, Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science (HELSUS), and Helsinki Inequality Initiative (INEQ).
