Founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, has at a meeting at the National Chief Imam’s Fadama residence in Accra Thursday, declared Zongo as his second home.
The meeting was to foster and uphold peace between the Muslim and the Christian communities in the country.
This comes to address the recent uproar and act of vandalism at the Odorkor branch of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries International by some Muslim youth following a 31st December prophecy by Rev. Owsus Bempah announcing the death of the Chief Imam in 2019.
Rev. Owusu Bempah also lauded the Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu for being a father of all.
According to the Rev. Owusu Bempah, the Chief Imam has demonstrated his God-fearing and fatherly character after calling the Muslim youth to order following the attacks.
He added that but for the timely intervention of the Chief Imam, the issue would have taken another twist which could lead to harm and destruction.
Still at the meeting, Rev. Owusu Bempah stated that he had dropped the charges against the attackers and asked for their release from Police cells.
