An online poll, organized by Primetime Limited, the organizers of the annual National Science and Maths Quiz, has predicted that St. Augustine’s College, will emerge as winners of this year’s competition.
The Cape Coast-based school will come up against five-time winners Presbyterian Boys Senior High School, Legon, and defending champions, St. Peter’s SHS.
43% of the participants in the poll predicted a win for St. Augustine College, who have had astounding contests throughout this year’s contest whiles Presec Legon and St. Peter’s SHS obtained 35% and 22% of the votes respectively.
St. Augustine’s College has undoubtedly been fantastic in this year’s competition.
One of their toughest contest in this year’s competition saw them exhibit total dominance over city rival Mfantsipim School.
Among the three schools in the final, they are the only one to have reached the final stage through the preliminary stage and they seek to lift the trophy for the second time.

Today’s contest is definitely going to be keenly contested and it has already gained momentum on social media.
Whereas St. Peter’s SHS seeks to equal the record of Legon PRESEC as the only school to have won the successfully defended their title, St. Augustine’s is poised to on ending their 12-year trophy drought.
Legon PRESEC, is also looking forward to winning the title for a record six time.
