NDC conference to elect new Greater Accra regional executives held at UG

All is set for the National Democratic Congress to hold its Greater Accra regional elections at the athletic oval of the University of Ghana today Saturday, September 1.

Currently, the delegates of the opposition National Democratic Congress are filling the stands of the Athletic Oval in Accra to participate in the activity that will see to election of new executives to handle the affairs of the party in the region.

Similar elections are also being held by the party at various grounds in all the other nine regions of the country.

Meanwhile, the election grounds for Accra, the athletic oval at the main University of Ghana campus, has been decorated with NDC party colours with giant screens and flood lights positioned at vantage points.

Posters of candidates contesting for various portfolios have been splashed on walls and along principal streets leading to athletic oval

Party supporters are also clad in party colors with photos of their preferred candidates.

Delegates to partake in today’s activity at the University of Ghana are drawn from the 34 constituencies in the Greater Accra Region
