Ace journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has predicted doom for government’s Nation Builders Corps (NaBCO) initiative despite President Akufo-Addo’s optimism of the success of the programme.
Today, thousands of NaBCO beneficiaries were passed out to commence work at their various place of posting.
The President, speaking at the passing out ceremony for the beneficiaries to commence work, said he was in no doubt of the success of the initiative.
“With NaBCO, we have planted the seeds for the growth of our country. I am in no doubt whatsoever that NaBCO will succeed,” he said.
The President also maintained that the initiative was well planned and would create opportunities for its beneficiaries.
“…the scheme has well-constructed and clearly defined exit routes. Our public services and institutions, having benefited from the services of NaBCo trainees over the three-year period, will naturally have opportunities that will allow the retention of trainees who will justify their value.”
However, award-winning journalist, Manasseh Awuni, have predicted that the beneficiaries will soon demonstrate over unpaid salaries.

It appears that the journalist is not the only one foreseeing this as Dominic Senayah, another Twitter user also believes that beneficiaries would soon hit the streets agitating over unpaid salaries.
In a few months the NABCO will be here listening to interviews of striking beneficiaries due to delayed payment of allowances #CitiCBS
