School management has already published the list of students who have registered for the semester’s academic work and desks have been arranged in the various lecture rooms for the exam.

The exam commences today [Friday] with newly admitted students writing the ‘Basic French Communication’ paper.

Level 300 and final year students begin with their papers tomorrow Saturday with level 200 students commencing on Monday.

Per the timetable, the examination is expected to end on Saturday, December 21, 2019.

What is different about this semester’s examination

In terms of the organization, it is not so different from the previously organized end of semester examinations.

However, the scrapping of supplementary re-sit exams takes effect this semester.

It would be recalled that Rector of the school, Prof. Kwamena-Kwansah Aidoo, in an interaction with students last year announced that students will now be required to retake a course instead of re-sit it.

What this means is, students who will be unable to attain the required minimum grade in any of the courses of a particular semester will have to wait until the next academic year to retake the course.

Prof. Kwamena-Kwansah Aidoo explained that the move was aimed at encouraging students to work hard and pass their end of semester exams.
