Ghanaians will tonight be briefed on new measures taken by the government in the fight against the coronavirus as President Akufo-Addo has scheduled to address the nation.
This will be the President’s seventh address to the nation since the government began its fight against the coronavirus.
So far, the President has been announcing changes to measures being taken to protect the citizens including enforcing health directives, issuing and extending a lockdown.
Tonight’s address, is expected to, amongst other things, put to rest speculations about an extension of the lockdown by time and location.
Ghana has so far confirmed 834 cases of the virus with 99 recoveries and 9 deaths.
The cases are spread among ten regions, with Greater Accra leading the chart.
