Members of Educate Ghana Summit have called on the government to bolster the security system in Ghana to arrest culprits who commit heinous crimes.
In a press release signed by the CEO of Educate Ghana Summit Mr. Boadi William, the group entreated the security agencies to make good use of technology as it will go a long way to assist them gathering vital information in the fight against crime.
The release further encouraged the public to collaborate with security agencies in any way possible in battling crime.
“The public is also therefore, entreated to leave the matters of criminality to the security agencies and rather provide them with the necessary information that would help them deal with these evil men in the country”
In an interview with Univers News the deputy General Secretary of the group, Dr. Sulemana Hafiz Abubakari urged the government to challenge security agencies to be up and doing in their quest to render the nation safe.
“The Government who holds all power and authority should charge the interior minister, national security coordinators, and the police service to ensure that they perform their duties at various levels diligently”
Dr. Hafiz Abubakari further tasked government to “increase the technological know-how of these security services by training them as to how to carry out surveillance to detect threats easily”
