The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has put measures in place for all students to continue their academic work online.
These arrangements follow a directive from the Ministry of Education and the National Council for Tertiary Education to Vice Chancellors Ghana to ensure that students are actively engaged online while they stay at home.
As such, the University has taken steps to upload all students into the UCC Moodle Platform for online learning to take place for the remaining weeks of the second semester.
In a statement dated March 27, 2020, the Vice Chancellor for the University , Professor Joseph Ghartey Ampiah instructed all teaching staff of the University to move their courses and course materials onto the Moodle Platform by Wednesday, April 8, 2020 to allow students get access to them for continuing academic work.
“We therefore entreat all teaching staff of the University of Cape Coast to upload their courses and course materials (i.e. course outlines, lecture notes/PowerPoint presentations, recommended reading books/journals for the second semester 2019/2020 academic year on the Moodle Platform by Wednesday, 8 th April, 2020 to enable students access them for continuing academic work,” part of the statement said.
