The Commonwealth Hall of the University of Ghana has set Friday, July 9th, 2021 as the start date for this semester’s edition of the Minim Pinim festival.
MINIM PINIM is a social and educative program organized by the Royal Chief Vandal every semester to welcome back students on campus and also educate them on national developments and campus-related issues.
The theme for this semester’s edition is “Fix the country: The voice of Academia”
During this three-day educative program, there will be “the observatory special” where debaters from within the hall will argue on the topic “Fixing the country; government duty or citizens duty”
The subsequent days will be followed with other programs such; rep your schools, COVID sensitization, and blood donations, indoor games, food and trade fair, VANDALS got talents, movie night among others
Dignitaries to honor this year’s program include: Peter Boamah Otokunor (NDC Deputy General Secretary), Professor Frank Nyame (Department of Earth Science, University of Ghana), Dr. Kweku Kyeremeh (Department of Chemistry, University of Ghana), Justice Yaw Ofori (National Insurance Commissioner)
