The School of Continuing and Distance Education at the University of Ghana has released the timetable for the end of semester examinations.
The examination is set to commence on Saturday, September 18, 2021, with most of the papers expected to be written onsite.
Vice President of the University of Ghana Distance Education Student Representative Council (SRC), Jedidiah Patrick Anarfi called on the management of the university to reconsider its decision on the mode of the exams for students.
Speaking to UniversNews, Mr. Anarfi urged management to stick to the online mode of examinations since teaching and learning were conducted online.
“Management should reconsider their decision. I see it as a punitive measure on students, it’s like you were teaching me online and you expect me to write my examinations face to face. It doesn’t coincide. So if you are taking a decision on the nature of examinations then it should coincide with the nature of our classes.”
