Legon Swimming Club set to launch 2018 Championship

The Legon Swimming Club is set to organize the 2018 edition of the annual Legon Swim Championship at the University of Ghana swimming pool.

This year’s championship, which would be the third edition since its inception is scheduled for October 6, 2018.

The competition is supported by the University of Ghana’s Sports Directorate and promises to make a great impression on the swimming calendar of the University of Ghana.

The flagship Championship which seeks to produce world class champions for Ghana in the next five years is expecting team like Gh Dolphins, Lincoln Lions, Lincoln Blues, Ghana White Sharks, Ombi and Ghana Blue Sharks as the Legon Sharks be in the pole position to host them.

Speaking to the coach of Legon Sharks, Emmanuel Sam, he indicated that his team was well prepared for the competition.

“the previous edition was successful and this year’s edition will also be more exciting. We are really prepared for this year’s competition. Our opponent are ready for us and we are also bent on winning more laurels this time”

Emmanuel Sam further added that, “everything has been catered for  by our management and the health response team will be around in case of any emergency”
