The Commonwealth Hall at the University of Ghana has announced that manual registration level 200 and 300 residents of the hall will begin from Thursday, September 16, 2021.
This was noted in a release signed by the Public Relations Officer of the hall’s JCR, Micheal Asamoah Appiah Koranteng on Monday, September 13, 2021.
Old residents of the hall were asked to pay an amount of GHC 267 as residential fees and GHC 367 for new residents.
Residents were advised to pay either at the University of Ghana authorized banks i.e. Access Bank, Ecobank, Consolidated Bank Ghana, Ghana Commercial Bank, Republic Bank, etc, or by using the ‘UG Pay’ which can be accessed at the student services section on the university’s website.
The statement urged students to, when coming for the manual registration, attach a copy of their residential proof of registration, a copy of their academic proof of registration, and bank or fee receipts.
Meanwhile, the University is preparing to receive its students who are in the second and third years of their undergraduate programme.
The portal for academic registration has already been opened and they are expected to report on campus between Thursday, September 16, 2021, and Sunday, September 19, 2021.
Ahead of their return, a disinfection exercise has been planned by university authorities to ensure that these students return to a safe environment despite the rise in COVID infections.
