National Democratic Congress’ candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election, Delali Kwasi Brempong has touted himself as a selfless person worthy of representing his constituents in Parliament.
In his view, although former Members of Parliament for the constituency have been tagged as selfish, that cannot be said of him and the NDC party as they are yet to represent the constituency since 1992.
Speaking on Radio Univers’ Afisem Show on Saturday, the one-time failed Parliamentary candidate urged constituents to vote for change in the forth coming by-election as he promises not to neglect them when he becomes a legislator.
Interesting, for the past 22years, we have not had an NDC MP, so if they says ‘MPs in Ayawaso West Wuogon have been selfish’, then they are talking unfortunately about NPP MPs.” he stated.
That is the more reason they should vote for Delali Kwasi Brempong…I’m a selfless person. When I eat, other people also have stomach. If I pay fees, other parents need to pay fees too – Mr. Brempong said
The trained Pharmacist also promised to bring massive infrastructural developments in the constituency and ensure employment for the youth in the area.
The Ayawaso West Wuogon seat became vacant following the death of the MP, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko on November 21, 2018.
In the forth coming Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election, Delali Kwasi Brempong will be contesting with Liberal Party of Ghana’s Clement Boadi, William Dowokpor of the Progressive People’s Party and one of the widows of Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko, Madam Lydia S. Alhassan who is running on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party
