Valentine’s Day is coming up, and it looks like everybody is making plans to spend the day with their significant others.
If you don’t have anything planned for that day, here are a few ideas for Val’s day if you are unattached, but still want to feel special.
1. Stream your favorite comedy specials
Understandably, the day of love might not be one of the happiest you’ll have this year.
So, if you need something to cheer you up, open up Netflix or DStv, and see if there’s anything from one of your favorite comedians to watch.
If you don’t have a favorite comedian, just watch something you think you’ll find entertaining and settle down for the night.
2. Listen to your favorite albums
There’s probably nothing better in this world than listening to your favorite music over and over again.
If you live alone, you can try to set the atmosphere by turning off all the lights but leaving one light on in another room, just so that there’s enough light to see.
You could even play the music out loud and just vibe to it.
3. Enjoy your favorite foods and drinks
Just because you’re alone, doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself! Just for the day, use the holiday as an excuse to eat whatever you like all-day, guilt-free!
Get that KFC deal you’ve been eyeing for weeks, or if you prefer, make that recipe that you haven’t had time to make before!
