The funeral of the late United Nation’s Secretary General Kofi Attah Annan has once more united the African Continent and beyond as numerous African Leaders and world diplomats have been sighted in the country at the Accra International Conference to pay their last respect to the African Icon and diplomat.
The visiting leaders are expected to hold series of discussions to strategize on keeping and achieving the goals the late diplomatic had for the African continent.
The dignitaries sighted by far includes; Ethiopian president, Dr. Mulato Teshome; Nigerien Prime Minister, Brigi Rafini; Namibian president, Hage Geingob; Angolan Vice-president and Bonito Desousa Baltazar Diogo. Sierra Leone President, Julius Maada Bio.
The Late co-recipient of the 2001 Nobel Peace Prize and Secretary-General of the UN was born on April 8th, 1938 and a Ghanaian diplomat who served as the Seventh Secretary – General of the UN from January 1997 to December 2006.
