The race for the prestigious crown in the 2019 edition of Face of Legon has not been easy.
However, Jocelyn Kugblenu, a volunteer at Radio Univers has proven that indeed hard work pays off.
Jocelyn, a level 400 Political Science and Information student, is the only Distance Education student in the race.
Jocelyn, alongside other nine ladies, managed to survive an eviction contest which saw 5 girls exit the competition.
The eviction took place during a talent show where the ladies displayed their distinct talents during the night.
While some danced, others sung as well as acted.
Jocelyn was the only contestant who graced the stage with poetry.
The competition, which begun on 23rd March 2019, has seen several activities such as catwalk lessons, various grooming activities, public speaking seminars as well as a grand launch which took place during the Commonwealth Hall week celebration on 12 April 2019.
The grande finale is set to take place on Friday, 26 April 2019 at Lizaalex, as part of the SRC’s week celebration.
Organizers of the show say the grand finale will be exciting looking at the efforts of all the ladies to impress the judges and the audience at large.
