Reggae singer Knii Lante has described his recently released song, A 1000 Ways as a tribute to every ghetto youth striving to make it in life.
The medical doctor and singer uses this song to recognize all the injustices those in the lower classes have to deal with on a daily basis, where most of them receive very little reward for so much work done and then use this meager incomes to fend for their families.
The song, according to him, pays respect to the many hard workers in our society who are under-appreciated and underpaid. They are being urged not to give up but rather keep believing and push on.
“Being a musician, I believe it is only right that I sing for the many who are doing their best to earn a living in spite of the tough conditions, mainly economic, they have to deal with. Those of us with a voice have to be a mouthpiece for the downtrodden”, says Knii Lante.
Knii Lante goes on to add, “I certainly feel the pain of the many unemployed youth. The pressure and stress you have to contend with isn’t easy and I know. I want to urge you not to give up or lose hope but rather keep the faith and believe the best is yet to come. You never know when your big break is going to come so don’t stop believing. Be positive in your thoughts and keep praying for better days. There A 1000 Ways to make it. Legitimate ways, I must stress”.
