The National Petroleum Authority has reduced the margin on the price of fuel from 17 pesewas to 9 pesewas.
Following the implementation of the new levies imposed on fuel, prices of fuel went up by 17 pesewas.
But in a meeting held today between the Energy Minister and various stakeholders, the new margin has been revised to 9 pesewas.
This revision is to take effect from Wednesday, May 5th, 2021.
Prior to the increment, fuel prices per liter of petrol and diesel were on an average of GHS 5.7 but currently, some Oil Marketing companies are currently displaying GHS 6.13 per liter.
